HOW CAN WE HELP? If you are experiencing hardship and need some emergency support we encourage whānau to get in direct contact with our Kaitiaki below to let us know what level of support you require:

DRINKING WATER For everyone in Pataua South that require drinking water, Civil Defence will subsidise a water tanker to be parked in the DoC carpark tomorrow, Wednesday 15th February, from 9am-12noon.

9KG LPG GAS REFILLS For whānau that require their Gas Bottles to be refilled, the Hapū Iwi Trust will be at Elgas on Porowini Ave from 9am to 10am tomorrow to refill bottles.

FUEL FOR GENERATORS Are you still without power and need fuel for your generator?

KAI Has your freezer defrosted due to having no power? Does your household need assistance with Kai with the influx of visitors?

As further support is available we will come back to those that have made contact with us. Please note that responses will not be immediate as our Volunteer Kaimahi will need time to work their way through our whānau needs.

CYCLONE GABRIELLE - CIVIL DEFENCE PAYMENTS If you and your family have been affected by Cyclone Gabrielle, you may be able to get a Civil Defence Payment. Accessing these funds are easy to do just by calling 0800 400 100
